Well, no. But it does fit the pattern.

When the Republican Nabobs of the Club hand us a squish guaranteed to leap to his or her feet with an enthusiastic “Yea!” for any and all Democratic Party initiatives to expand Government, we’re obligated to shut the f* up and support the “moderate” in the interest of Party unity, regardless of any negatives we may perceive.

But when conservatives slip somebody in who isn’t devoted to grabbing the money with both hands, the Nabobs rise up in righteous indignation, and with one voice start writing and chanting ads for the Democratic Party opponent.

Something is not symmetrical here.
