S. Weasel reminds me that I am sorely remiss for lack of catblogging. Therefore:
The babies don’t have names yet. Angel isn’t a cuddly kitteh. She enjoys being stroked, but objects to being picked up. She had the babies on the front porch, but objected very strongly to my fooling with them, so they aren’t friendly. While they’re lying on the rocking chair I can stroke them, but the little white one hisses at me. Once they’re up and around, they’ll no doubt be standoffish. I name cats when they stay inside, but as for outdoor cats, it’s already been noted: What’s the point of naming an animal that won’t come when called?

CUUUUTE catties!
My cats have names, but they’re only on the vet records. Black kitty and Gray kitty, or Kitty and Other kitty seem to work just fine. As do pee-pee cat and other fitting adjectives.
On account of what does a cat care?
